Phase 3 of the SBI PO selection process carries 50 total marks, split into Group Exercises/Discussion (20 marks) and Personal Interview (30 marks). Success in this final phase requires personal composure, clear communication, and an understanding of economic affairs.
1. Navigating Group Discussion & Group Exercises
- Group Discussion (GD): Present logical, data-backed points without interrupting other participants. Focus on adding value rather than speaking continuously.
- Group Exercise (GE): Priority-ranking exercises where candidates collaboratively rank a list of parameters (e.g., factors driving customer satisfaction) and present a unified group consensus.
2. Personal Interview Focus Areas
Prepare thoroughly for three main question categories: Personal Background & Resume (academic degree, work experience), Banking Knowledge (SBI history, YONO platform features, NPA resolution mechanisms), and Current Economic Policy events.
